In regards to the Second Skin Luxury Liner Pro on the rear wall, would the OEM storage bin fit over the Luxury Liner Pro? Also, what plastic retainers clips did you use to hold the Luxury Liner Pro in place? Thanks!

Sound system 2-10” Sundown SD4, 2 amps Rockford Fosgate mids and highs. Sound deadened entire cab and door with Metra Ballistic deadener
    Another comment on sound deadening, I used 3 boxes of Metra Ballistic Hollow Point material, 36sf per box. 2020 Tacoma double cab. That covered;
    Entire roof
    Entire back panel
    Floor (up to dash)
    Rear under seat compartment
All doors outer skin AND inner skin
Just be prepared, have a roller razor knife and plenty of utility blades. The headliner is really not hard to pull down. Note: wires on headliner are hot glued down, DO NOT START CAR OR TURN IGNITION ON WITH THE LANE DEPARTURE CAMERA UNPLUGGED. ERRORS WILL POPUP, AND YOU MAY NEED THE SYSTEM RECALIBRATED.
My truck is now as quiet (or quieter) than any Lexus.
PS- this is a great time to wire for a upgraded sound system (see pics!)

@Sacglass how much time was involved in the installation start to finish ? did you perhaps fluid film the doors ? why did you chose this material over others ?

I did not fluid film anything. Overall construction of this type of sound deadening material is similar across the board. I felt Any differences after application would be negligible. Total time 2.5 days, worth every second! This timeframe included running all new wiring for the sound system.

Question on the door install process, what are people doing with the vapor barrier on the door?

I put mine back in, though I haven't done MLV yet. Probably would still put it back in anyway, space allowing.

ABS plastic cut to shape with deadener over it. Works great. Did mine like that 11.5 years ago.

Good idea. I may try that. Figure some magnets could hold it on

I eliminated the factory vapor barrier, the sound deadening material works best when its applied directly to metal.

I have put in Racesport gen3 leds I'm the process of doing a custom audio overhaul which will include Hybrid audio unity 6x9 mid bass, unity 3 inch mid driver in the dash and fiberglassing tweets in pilar soundeading all the doors, floors, and headliner and I will be using a helix processor to retain the factory radio and as far as subs I might make custom brackets to move rear seat foward a few inches to get a full size sub in there or I might just go with a pair of jl tw5 or tw3 and it will all be powered by jl audio HD amps or I might try out the new hybrid amps

@MannyTheAudioGuy Hey there, do you happen to remember roughly how large those panels are that you made? Need to buy the sheets and don't want to get more than I need if I can help it. Thanks!

When i went into my doors, mine had the stock covers for the access holes. I just added some Noico to those and it made a world of difference
