Normally I would agree with this as public/mass transport is very big in other countries, but those countries are also dealing with smaller/crowded roads and built an infrastructure around public transport as opposed to the personal car. A lot of new construction is very spread out (at least in areas I live and visit) and the roads and developments are designed to deal with lots of cars. Hell there isn't even a bus stop within a mile of my house. I think buses and other forms of mass transport are a better option, but there has to be development and support for that to take off.

People will stop buying cars because there will not be anywhere to go. Everthing comes to the consumer these days. With Ecommerce, and delivery apps there is no need to go anywhere.

True. Generations are now at the point where the desire to drive isn't really that important anymore or considered a milestone. We'll see what happens. Hell if we had a better public transport system in my area i'd be using it

"Oil" ain't going anywhere. Tires, lubrication, rubber, plastic. There are still a lot of requirements for petroleum products/fossil fuels beyond burning it.

Keyword is less. It’s inevitable. And oil isn’t going to last forever
