    This is the one hobby I haven’t ventured into because I’m afraid it’s a slippery slope. This coming from the guy who has brewed beer, made cheese, raised chickens, made kombucha, and smoked meats... :anonymous:

    Smoked jerky is quicker than dehydrated! Although id like to do a smoked then dehydrated combo!

    Typically I do flank steak for 3 hours at 225 after a night of soak in... the special mix!

    Holy heck, so you just smoke it to death??!?!! I thought I needed a dehydrator. I’ll have to look into this. Do you have any forums or sites with more info/tips?

    Try small batches till you find the ones you prefer. Smoker time varies as to how thick you slice it. Try to slice everything the same
