2018 - Installed touchscreen stereo with new speakers. no sub or amp. 2019 - Ultimate Headlight +foglight upgrade from Crashnburn80 - Fox 2.5 non-res upfront -fox 2.0 w/ res in back -3rd Gen TRD Pro Wheels w/ Falken wildpeak 265/75/R16 -bed mat
best upgrade I've done so far is onboard compressor. Installed a single can ARB compressor with a Slee mount. Also, not so much a physical truck upgrade but a tool...the Staun tire deflaters are the best thing ever for airing down.

Mounted my Scangauge. Didn't want to pay $60+ for a Blendmount so I used an $8 lightbar mount from Amazon & attached the Scangauge with Velcro. The 3/4" adaptor included with the mount works perfect on the mirror stem.

I've had the hinge/kit for the 3rd Gen-2nd Gen tailgate damper for the past few months and got around to installing it yesterday. Purchased the hinge kit from a member on here and the 3rd Gen damper kit from a Toyota parts dealership online.
What a PITA it all was. Lots more cutting and trimming than I expected just to get the kit installed.

Is it worth it? Yes and no.
Once you start on it you really can't go back to stock of you wanted to.
The kit I purchased came with no nuts to mount the damper. Unsure if these should have come with the damper part or the hinge kit but worth noting so you don't get stuck mid project.
I installed this to replace the use of the EZ Down tailgate kit I had been using for the past year which was pretty janky.
The install took far longer than I had planned. Came out fairly good but in hind sight I probably wouldn't do it again.

Finally washed it. Also, 25% tint in the front went in today. It may be a hair lighter than the rear, which is annoying me 1B67211D-EB99-4F0C-A466-4387611C8C07.jpg

better to be lighter in the front, than lighter in the rear! My wife's RAV4 has slightly darker tint in the front which bugs me :annoyed:

Yep, this is my dilemma. Only I notice, but it drives me f-ing nuts. My wife doesn't see what I'm talking about.

Had bad experience with Ridge Grapplers on wet road.. they don't get the best traction, if they do for you thats great.. I have a strike 3 policy in my life, always have.. you screw me over 3 times we are done... Got my baby a new pair of shoes.. since I was at it, I bumped it up to 285's cause my C4 bumper is on the way, get my ICON spanner tomorrow so I'll raise that front end up when I get it... that is unless the shipper uses some bullshit Covid excuse for not making shipping date.

BFG KO2's get a bad rap for not being good in the rain, but mine have been doing great and I haven't had any issues.

I love em... just tried saving a few bucks (when I know better) and as usual, learned a lesson.. but I'm back on BFG's and I'm never leaving.

Added 2 bow shackles to the front for mild to moderate tugging “just in case”. I like the aesthetic looks too no lie, I can look more like a bro every day. I also took a much needed touch less car wash. The place I go to has a nice under carriage sprayer. And finally just got back from a very unhealthy fast food run. I’ll blame it on “weekend” laziness.

My 1st 3 Tacoma's always had BF Goodrich All Terrains. Never thought I would leave BFG's either. Saw the love for Wildpeaks and
did a lot of research. Decided to buy a set just to see how I would like them. Let's just say the rest of my Tacoma's will always have
Wildpeaks on them. For the me they look great, perform great, and are not as loud as the BFG's when they get towards the end of
their performance life. BFG All Terrains are loud as fuck when they get over 40,000 miles on them.
