Actually no. Truck spend 3 weeks at an Indy shop. They resulted as a faulty fuse box after shotgunning 900 worth of other parts are it and still wanted another 1100 to do that. So I said fuck it and have been driving it with the check engine light till my registration expires. I’ll be replacing the truck at the end of my registration

No sorry you are all wrong if a o2 sensor is shorted in a tacoma, the fuse will blow,I went 2 days with this p0031 code trying to find the fuse until I finally did, replaced the sensor and the light finally went away!!! i hope this helps a bunch of people because I searched for days and couldn't find the location or anything in the web to help me,I have a 2013 tacoma 2.7 prerunner double cab but it should help you with trucks from 2005 to 2015
It's the blue 15a fuse next to the white one that says a/f heater, replace it once your o2 sensor is shorted or burned and your done!!you won't be wondering forever like I did why the check engine light never goes off after replacing a new o2 sensor!!!

TacomaWorld is such a great resource. I really appreciate all of my fellow Taco owners. I just had my 2006 2WD Pre-Runner in the muffler shop to replace a stolen downstream driver side catalytic converter ($1,000 sheesh). I've had the P0031/P0051 error codes for about a month now, but have been putting off replacing the O2 sensors that my diagnostic app was showing as defective. the muffler guy did his own diagnostic and quoted me $520 to replace the 2 upstream O2 sensors. I know I could see the sensors and thought I'd look into a DIY project. I tried the relay swap mentioned at the top of this post and the error light went out and no other diagnostic issues show up. Wonderful. Thanks
