IMO, although TW members come from all walks of life all over the world I think the fact that we are members of TW and the common thread is that we all have Tacos is certainly enough of a reason to be the grounds for a start of a friendship.

Put in the Subaru tweeters and Kicker CS in all 4 doors today. Amazing treble difference. The stock speakers were so lightweight and cheap.
Got on the road and noticed I have a rattle in the passenger speaker... going to have to take it apart tomorrow and maybe put some foam around the universal adapter?

I see. Thank you for showing me and explaining. I didn't know. What's the difference between stock exhaust and TRD exhaust? Apart from the tip of-course? Any difference in performance or fuel efficiency? Better for environment? Asking out of curiosity.

At 0430 AM CST, when I read your post, I read "amazing TERRIBLE difference."

Time for 0600 so I can go home to rest.

If I remember correctly, the biggest differences were materials of construction and flow/sound. The TRD exhaust is completely stainless steel and is designed for higher flow (+HP). The higher flow also means a more throaty sound from the engine/exhaust. I had the TRD exhaust on my 07 and even with 14 years of VT salty roads and 115,000 miles, it looked and sounded like new.

Therein lies my "complaint" with the TRD exhaust. I loved the sound when I bought the truck but after 10 years of driving it, I was tired of hearing the exhaust so much, especially when on the highway. I guess I've aged (OH NO!!) and now my 18 has the stock exhaust.

Most of mine are on the carpet too. But if you put them on the headliner and press down hard enough and wiggle back and forth they’ll stick.

It’s really kind of funny that Toyota now offers what most people do.... grill and lift. next up will be chrome interior delete, and a drivers side grab handle. Wouldn’t that be that cats ass.
