The tire difference alone made the comparison invalid.

    Working on it ...
Had a Jeep. Thing could drive up the side of a mountain. Could go anywhere in any conditions. The only that could stop that thing was ... well, itself. The wiring sucked, three out of four speakers worked, back hatch would not open, headliner was falling down, center console lid detached itself, had to replace the transfer case and AC compressor among other things and brake calipers kept seizing, on and and on ...

Had 4 Toyota 4x4 pickups. All extremely high mileage vehicles and incredibly dependable.

Does this make me a Toyota shill, or just somebody who goes back to what is proving to be dependable and reliable?

He might have done better in the taco with his eyes open at very least.

Honestly a Tacoma is overrated. I’ve had two...nothing special. Great trucks, but let’s be honest any truck with a good driver can get the job done.....people just want to feel great about paying for a 44k midsize truck with adjustable seats....sorry but it’s the truth

Car reviewers have to keep things interesting. If not they wont get views and make no money. They make loads of money off of vehicles that either suck really bad or break down a lot. Their Land Rover Defender videos brought in loads of money for them since it kept breaking down.

Toyota's just wont pull in money for them.

Absolutely, but still comparisons should be done as fairly as possible. With both other trucks diff-locked and in traction control modes, and them not bothering to lock the taco’s diff, or even engage Atrac, it’s clearly a stacked deck.

He is actually my favorite one. He's genuine and unbiased. He has the most emotion in the company and looks like he actually enjoys what he does.

He’s not the best at driving a standard transmission, that’s for sure. Unless full throttle is your bag.

IMO they are obviously Jeep guys that are being paid to promote the Ford Ranger. I’m kinda surprised they don’t compare a Tacoma to a Tractor trailer for load hauling and a tow truck for towing capability. On the plus side I now know to avoid their channel so thank you OP for that.

I think they should move their channel to 15,000 ft above sea level because that is where we all live.

Oh absolutely! I can’t argue that. Tacoma is the sexiest midsize around.

I have no idea what TFL is, and after reading this I don't feel I'm missing much.

100% these guys are jeep fan boys who praise no one else. I somewhat like them but they are ridiculous on how they act towards the tacoma specifically. Totally biased, which is fine, except for the fact they claim to be unbiased and fair reviews. "jeep has front and rear lockers" could be their catch phrase. Roman is by far the worst, Tommy and Andre are more middle of the road.

It's beyond stupid, to set the bar with a modified vehicle against stock.
