So many shifters... I'd be confused.
Ever drive an old semi with a 5 and a 4? Damn shit gets tangled up sometimes. Real neat trying to race with one. You learn to lean over and shift both at the same time with one arm while double clutching or triple to get gears and rpm set right its so fun!

When i was little (wait, i still am), when i was younger, i use to love going on trips with my dad after school. He would get off work and go pick up the truck (tomatoes) and we would make a couple trips during the evening. The fun one was going to fresno. It was cool watching him use all them shifters. Loved when he got a truck with the sleeping cab. I would be in the back playing with my gi joes. Great memories

 

Yes I did. Brought the wife down and went taco truckin'. That truck does kick ass!

 

No but I remember riding with my dad when he drove big rigs and I was confused watching him shift. Its not bad though. One is for "very slow" other for "slow" and the other for 4wd/2wd.

Well, I better start doing something as well.

 

I grew up on a farm and we used those every day. My first driving lesson was at 8 with one, on the "freeway" between the hay farm and our barns. I had some help with the shifts, but I was told to figure it out.
