 PA peeps. Tree guy got here at 8:30 to look at our poor dead ash trees, he couldn't drive up the driveway for the ice. I went out and looked just now and it is clear. Whew. Even though the air temp is below freezing there is melting going on.

Thanks for all the well wishes thoughts and prayers everyone, it means a lot. You can’t get through something like this alone.

Wow! I thought that was beyond the timeframe for reversal surgery. Glad that worked out for you.

Sorry to hear this. That’s a terrible way to have to live life with that thing on your side.

I know several had posted about salt (ice melt) availability in the Pittsburgh area and I appreciated it, so I just wanted to mention that I was in the Robinson twp Lowe’s just now and they have 40lb bags currently available for $10.97 (limit 5 bags). Not sure if anybody is still looking for it, but it seems to be selling fast still.

Alignment . All parts were donated. Not new but new enough for kids 2008 taco with 405k on it .... oh and inspection.... gotta do front shocks yet.... I need or would like takeoffs...

We just got spoiled by a bunch of mild winters with a lack of snow.

This is normal from what I recall I remember one in the late seventies about 6 weeks it never got above freezing

Good morning PA TW. Was up at a buddies camp in Bald Eagle SF. His camp is the only one on a dead end SF road and had around 14" of snow with no winter maintenance. I had to pull one of my buddies Rams out and anothers F150 when they got stuck:rofl:. Nothing got broke at least and we had a good time. Everyone have a great day and be safe0219211311a.jpg 0219211325.jpg

That's what I was telling my grandson yesterday when he tried to go out without gloves. I told him, "don't be a fool like your grandfather was." LOL. I remember delivering the Pittsburgh Post Gazette in Monroeville in the wee morning hours before school during the winters of 1976-77 and 1977-78. I would try to go out the door without gloves (God only knows why) and my mother would insist I put them on. There were days upon days below freezing and many below zero. Speaking of which we fell below zero here this morning, the first time in a few years according to the local weather man.

    Morning PA folks.
Does anyone think this weather will be over and spring heading in by the end of March? We expect to be home from Florida by the 20th unless winter is still hanging around.
Be safe and as always be careful.

I think this is the last (cold) breath of winter. It is forecasted to be 50 degrees on Wednesday. Looking at the Accu-weather forecast for my area, it appears we are going to return to normal temps, which is about 40 for the end of February and low to mid 40s until the first day of Spring. I am not saying we won't have some more snow, just normal temps and precip, which I will more than welcome.

I don't think winter or the snow is over yet, just the normal warm up that we get for a short break. Last year it snowed all the way into mid May. I hoping I'm wrong but I'm not getting my hopes up, not with the way the weather has been the past couple years.

Come up the mountain and wash mine!

It's a serious downer to have a new truck and it stays filthy! Monday's weather is supposed to be crappy so I think I'll tackle it Tuesday after going into Hagerstown. I finally broke my work shoes almost in half this week so I gotta grab a new pair. They're almost 2 years old, so I think I had a good run. The Sketchers store gives a 30% discount to those who work where I do. They have been the most comfortable work shoes I've ever had, despite being steel toe. I wore them a year more than I should, but I'm a tightwad when it comes to that stuff...

Hectic day at choas cottage. Sister showed up with her 3 dogs. The only female dog is not present in this picture. She wants nothing to do with the boys.
