All the wood got moved from the back of my yard to under my parents back deck yesturday.

Those new 5160's put in a little work, took 2 full trips to get it all.

I made a little log skidder

Thanks for the compliment @Saturnine :hattip:

It’s mini and mighty and does everything I ask of it. Lots of OEM and aftermarket support to keep it going and simple to work on with minimal electronics.

    That log skidder works!

Your trucks not squatting much with that load and that’s a good size load. It actually looks quite level!

    ummm .....ya.
Yep figured they still did that, which is bullshit. Not that I have needed many batteries in my lifetime, but when I do, I go to Costco.

That's the minimum to be fair.

Did you verify they had a replacement battery of the same model in the store? The CT website shows stock level in each store.

what's the current verdict on the best LCA cam bolts to replace stock and hold alignment? are people happy with the Bison cam stop kit?

I like the poly performance taco tabs (i think @tacoma16 has?) but not currently available for 3rd gen.

Keep what you have stock. Just replace the bolts with greeasable ones.
I installed the bison kit. Sloppy and don't recommend it. But I might of got a bad batch or something. I only replaced them because my one of my stock ones moved.

My OEM cam bolts also have about 1/16" slop at the "happy" max-caster positions. The problem is when you hit a rock off-road, the OEM round cam rotates, and that throws out alignment a lot more than 1/16".

If you use the Bison kit, why don't you put a weld bead on the inside of the cam tabs to take up the slop?
