Could I have get a new front bumper and still keep my front receiver?

The receiver that I got for my 17' tacoma is in the link below and I am wondering if there are any bumpers out there where I could have both?

I'm going to assume that the hitch uses the same connecting points as a new bumper would. That alone would make it a no. I can't see there being enough room up there either.

 

The short answer is no, because aftermarket numbers utilize the same mounting points and the hitch would interfere.

that said, it would be easy to have a front receiver hitch added into a bumper. What are you using the receiver for, winch basket?

 

I mainly got the hitch because I wanted to push trailers up a curved uphill driveway.

I was looking around for something like in the link below because of a tenant bumped into the license plate area and my little nieces decided that area was a step and popped it back in later. I wanted something a little tame if I were to modify the front end.

Yeah sell that hitch and get a front bumper. There's a ton of them out there. Unless of course you're pushing a lot of trailers up that curved hill. Then forget the bumper. Can't have both.

 

You could find one bare metal and have a hitch welded to the top then have it powdercoated. That would be the easiest.

 

Just a little hot metal glue and you can have a front hitch on any front bumper.
the BAMF one makes it easy because it's a flat surface
