I would go with the body armor one. The more curves it has will provide more strength, and will deflect impacts better than the flat parts on the other bumper.

    Stock-ish
Only picture I have of the rear, but I currently have the Fab Four Premium rear bumper. Looks pretty similar to the Body Armor one you shared. I think they look pretty good since they mimic the stock form, but I just have this until I order a high clearence rear. Dont think you could go wrong with either of those!PSX_20210216_071609.jpg

I've got the BA Desert bumper. I really like it. I also have the BA Desert front bumper.

Why if it’s your daily driver with little off road? Your oem bumper will protect you way better in a rear accident. Get some new wheels and tires first is where I would spend my $$

Sorry I can’t help, I like both equally. It looks like they both have provisions for the sensors so that is good. I’d probably go with the cheaper of the two myself.

I love Desert bumper but it’s got bad feedback from some about the lighting for license plate. Also...I have the stock towing package. Will it work with the Desert Series?

Has anyone seen a aftermarket bumper that looks like the Colorados with the built in step on both sides for getting in the bed?

You have to modify the license plate lights. The bolts that hold the license plate on have led lights in them. They cost under 10 bucks and if you can splice an electrical wire, it is an easy mode.

I looked for a YouTube video on the fix with no luck. I wonder if the manufacturer has so written instructions? It is definitely the better looking bumper. Do you have a towing package set up and was that an issue? I am grateful for the replies and your guidance buddy,

I actually wish there was a bumper maker that had interchangeable bumper parts that could be taken out and changed, like both corners set up differently, one with a step and other side with a spot for antenna or anything else they can think up. Then just unbolt 2 big bolts from inside back bumper to swap out and change to whatever else you wanted that they offered. Possible a spot for a grill? Any fab guys up for this idea

I have the towing package there are no issues with the bumper. I spliced the LED bolts into the wire going to the license plate light wire. Very install and the LED bolts actually look pretty cool, in my opinion.
