Got the beginnings of the power trays mounted the other day. Gotta get all the wiring re-run this weekend. 34BBFC19-0676-4489-A39B-A54739787C76.jpg

Been a busy couple months and haven’t posted much to this thread, although a lot has happened. Finished up the power tray wiring, finally. Got a label maker and some shrink tubing to keep everything looks ok’ing real clean.4B0EF129-423E-40B8-8C67-8CB02C45DA81.jpg

The wife decided she wanted a new house so we sold our place and bought in a different part of town. Just as I had finally got my garage finished up too.
    Empty garage

The new place was FULL of junk. I’ve been cleaning out the previous owners crap for weeks now. But we’re super close to the mountains and much closer
to work. Here’s a shot of the mess in the new garage:

I picked up a couple freezers for this fall’s haul. An elk and a pig, we’re eating pretty decent! Haha169094FF-2273-4403-9B06-6434A3C56CC5.jpg

Since the wife got a house and I lost my man cave, I worked a deal with her to finally get a KTM 300. Been wanting one for years! Tacoma is feeling the extra weight on the trailer though... supercharger next??

I’ll be building out a functioning garage (again) over the next few months. But the first order of business in the new house was to build a dog cave in the un-used space under the stairs. It’s 40x30 and I cut up an old queen mattress in quarters to make a sleeping pad for them. 892AAF8B-C465-46A1-8FAD-F267FD9918EC.jpg

My buddy is PCS’ing to Germany, made me an offer I couldn’t refuse on the raptor. Sold the taco to a guy on an ODA down the hall.

Hey I'm not knocking any decisions. I get it. Especially wanting the size of a tacoma for CO trails, but missing the power of the raptor. Let us know if you have (or if you don't that's fine too) issues with the raptor on trails due to size

You nailed it, that’s the dilemma. The taco is so much better on CO mountain trails. But if I’m being honest with myself, I spend 95% of my time on the pavement. I don’t get the taco out in the woods near as much as I would like to. Plus, hauling the trailer all loaded up with dirt bike, mountain bikes, water, food, firewood etc is a pain with the taco. The raptor goes faster with the trailer on than the taco does without. If I could own both I would.

Should've just told your buddy going to Germany he could leave his raptor at your place for the time he's gone...you'll make sure it gets started and moved around....you know, to make sure it all works
