I just couldn't resist the urge to come in here and take another peek.

    Anything new lately? Ideas?

A little suggestion-Paint the license plate light cover black.

I'm researching navigation units now- thinking of taking out the factory system and adding a kenwood 6960 gamin nave' backup cam, component speakers in the doors and a different amp/sub.

That's a good idea about the license plate light- to chromy!

Have you looked into Pioneer? Amazon has a good deal on them now but I'm not sure if it applies to the navigation ones.

I've decided on a Kenwood 9960 DD, JL audio ZR series 6.5 components up front with C2's or 3's in the rear, a JL Stealthbox with 2 10's, and a JL HD 900/5 to power everything. I'm also adding a Kenwood backup camera, satellite radio, and Ipod interface. I'll need a lot of sound deadening- the exhaust and KM2's drone a little. I'll post pics when its all installed.

Thanks for the compliments- the expo decals were made by sockmonkey over on Toyota nation- he does great work.

Got all my stereo stuff installed that I mentioned a post or so up- sounds awesome and the nav is wonderful. The backup camera really comes in handy with the topper and tire carrier back there. I'm researching regearing options for my next mod- probably 4.56's. We'll see...

I got my stereo installed- a Kenwood 9960 DD, JL audio ZR series 6.5 components up front with C2's in the rear, a JL Stealthbox with 2 10's, JL HD 900/5 amp, Kenwood backup camera, Sirius satellite radio, and an Ipod interface. I had them dynamat the floor, roof, inner and outer panels on all four doors, behind the rear seats, and they added dynapad to the floor and rear wall where the subs are. Here are some pics...

Setup looks awesome, if you dont mind me asking, how much was the install of the stereo system? I have been looking for a shop to do it but not so sure on what a decent price is. I basically want the same setup you have dynamat and all.

~$1500, they removed the entire interior for the dynamating, installed the DD, front/rear speakers, steering wheel controls, back up cam, nav and Sirius antennas, stealth box, and amp. Plus all the wiring- totally worth it as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks- yep, the install was top notch. I figured as much as I had in the components I'd better have a shop install it correctly.

I'll outlast my wife- I'll just wait until she wants a new one and build it up then!
