I just ordered a replacement cupholder insert. I can't stand the black thing with the wings that the early second gens have. I know people prefer them but mine must be broken cuz every time I touch them the wings fall off. Rather just replace it with a stable version.

I have those cup holder with the wing, and the other has the insert. I find the wing absolute useless. It doesn't even hold my coffee in place.

If you hate those wing things never get a 3rd gen; it's an even worse setup. I have to hold my canned energy drinks on turns. Same thing with the Camry... :annoyed:

I probably wouldn't hate them if they didn't fall apart every single time I touch them with anything (including beverages). Rather than replace mine with the same thing I figured I'd try something different. It's amazing how much bad cupholders can affect your quality of life, and I think Toyota has routinely dropped that ball. Thank goodness for a rich aftermarket following.

My truck has the three cupholder design, so I got one that has one big cupholder for oversized water bottles and one normal cupholder. I would say if you have a third gen with that problem, pay 50 bucks to have your truck hold your drink so you can power steer with both hands without having to wipe the interior after :burnrubber:

The 3.5L wouldn't do that if I tried

I still love my truck :D

As you should. But doesn't mean you have to love the cupholder :p

Wow, that interior looks like a spacecraft! I like that it has the hand brake. Hate the stomper.

A scene from the living room window. Been researching a bit for my body rust attack plan. I think I'm going to attack all the visible spots independently with sandpaper, then a 3 in 1 primer, then the 040 and then clear coat. It is going to be a lot of work, and more spots will keep showing up. But I don't know what else I can do. Was thinking of throwing some vintage decals on to draw the eyes away from my spot patch jobs :p

It's my favorite part about the 3rd gens! The truck is very much 2nd gen underneath, but is a little bit more refined. I liked the simplicity of my 2nd gen, but it wasn't an everyday driver at the time.

    Need some vintage 4wd stickers!

That's in the glove box with the glow sticks!

Funny you mention that. I came back from vacation one night, opened my locker at work, and bam! A bottle of grape scented ass lube right on top

Is that the one that sticks to the cups? I read somewhere that the rubber Toyota ones stuck to the beverages. They look like they'd work better than my wings do though :p

Is that how you fixed your squeaky exhaust? Bonus on the grape scent, but doesn't taste very good.

You never know when you have to give it a quick yank on the go.

Someone stole my leather scent bottle of ass glide.
