Whoa. Why was this NOT a thing before? excellent idea man. Anyone with the bed mounts would definitely gobble that up. Only trick is to make sure you get threading done correctly for each axle type. yah know? but great starting point dude.

Thanks ans Yeah. That's why we are using our own axle. Fortunately most MTBs use a 15mm axle, so that's a lot simpler.

Hayden & Rossi Approved  Still can't believe Nicky died freaking riding his road bike. How many times has he crashed
a motorcycle going over 100 mph's to live to race another day. But go out for a road ride on the street and get smashed by
    a car. Totally sucks.

Man tried to ride the local trails today, more than 72 hours since any rain/snow of any kind and they were an absolute muddy mess. Kind that locked up suspension and made chains jump off over and over. Wish the place dried up better.

I agree, and I think about him all the time, he was so gracious when I met him, he loved his fans. My prized possession is a signed Full Metal Nicky helmet - if I ever lost it, I'd be sick. Many people say what you said. I know it's painful to admit it, but having been a bicyclist, I have taken many chances, and I know many do, we are impatient for some reason at times, how many times have you seen a cyclist, jut out over a busy road just to cross during a training ride? I've seen it many times, and I've done it. I think that's what happened. I think Nicky was zoned in on his ride, had his earbuds in from what I understand, and he probably tried crossing a little too close for comfort and got smashed by the car. I believe the car was cited for exceeding speed limit, but as bicyclists, we have to slow down and be more careful. Earl wanted to sue the woman - I don't know what that accomplishes, it won't get Nicky back. At the same time seeing him in the motogp press conference after Nicky's death, it clearly took a toll on him. Such a good family.

Rough go is an understatement. It’s like pedaling up through a trail of basketballs, softballs, and volleyballs with just enough dirt to hold them together.

Edit- which makes it not a whole lot different from lawndale but I usually end up going down that one.

Ass over teekettle also dings the finish but I’m less worried about the paint than the kettle. Mtb is the bike version of off-road but you wear the skids instead of the vehicle.

Oh, way up north, nice! I’m not familiar with that one. I rode mostly around San Diego area.

Nice Independent Fabrication frame. Steel is meant to last unless you hit a tree head on. Sweet ride

Thanks, this frame is about 10 years old. Just put new parts on it every few years. If I want something new I just have it repainted and I'm good to go. It is great bike.
