Interested in doing the OV Tune. What all do I need to purchase (exactly) from the website to get this going? Super confused by their purchasing options on their site.

    vF Tuner is back!

Recently when I'd visit vftuner.com I'd get a message saying they're doing a big update.

A few minutes ago I went in again and saw they have the software w/ cables for sale for $349 -- so I bought it!

If I understand correctly, once I know my ECU ID I can buy a 'tune pack' data download for my Taco (with all the awesome tunes we read about) for $390....

    Woohoooooo!!

Had my new 21 OR MT tuned by @FuzzysTacos . Had right at 5000 miles on it when done, got a couple tanks on it since it was done and can't say that it affected mileage any, but certainly cleared up power across the RPM band.

Are you on Facebook? If so join the Carolina Tacoma’s group. There’s actually a guy tuning trucks in Charlotte this Saturday evening and he’ll be in Asheville Sunday morning.

04B04 is the most update version for your truck.

I really enjoy the more predictable logic after my tune. I think I was preparing myself for a much more significant difference. Not a bad thing, just less impactful than my probably unreasonable expectation!

I tune other trucks and charge $250. That seems to be the going rate on here, but may change somewhat due to some changes with the OVTune licensing.

I paid 200, but the gent said he might have to be going up because of changes with OVTune.

    Sorry to hear that!

We'll hopefully set that straight with the Perf and Tow tunes.

I purchased just the vftuner package last Sunday since I have a Tactrix cable already and I still haven't gotten the license yet (checked spam too). Am I supposed to do anything else to get the license?
