Glue that back on with epoxy or jb weld. Should be fine until the new part comes in.

Well if your map from the (Gaia app?) is correct, then the road following from the exit along I-70 is the Temple Mountain Road that eventually winds south and east to Goblin Valley State Park... If you follow that road north of I-70 (Buckhorn Draw Road) it goes deep into the Swell on really good gravel road and there are a lot of nice side hikes and indian art and back roads. The northern part of the road does meet the Green River Cut-off.
The route in blue on your map is west of that exit. Great country.

Have you ever toured down through the north side of Capital Reef and down to Torrey from I-70? Or across east to west through Cathedral Valley?

Negative! But I’ve been to Monticello, which I’m huge fan of. So many places to explore.

    Interested in getting out?

Once we get our shots we'll be out. We're "on the list" and have been since this whole thing started. April in the Swell could be on our agenda.

I would’ve had to buy a new plenum.. so I ended up removing mine, drilling out the hole, threading it and putting a pipe fitting in. Worked unbelievable well for once. Lol. 25DE32DB-BCBC-4523-A18F-645F3C2EF9A9.jpgB77B04EB-3F34-48FA-A56F-A39C7D3D0ADB.jpg

Anybody have a set of battery lug crimpers? I'm finishing a few Bussmanns and the guy that usually builds my battery wires shut down shop.

Get two bolts of the m8 or larger variety. Put on either side of lug to be crimped. Put that whole thing in a vice and cinch down.

or get a socket size converter and a vise:

That's a slick idea! I left my vise back home, though. A new one might be more than a lug crimper. I only planned to do electrical while I'm here. I regret that... as I've been a frequent flyer at Harbor Freight buying crap I already own but didn't bring to do one-off projects.

I cheated for my bussmann and bought pre crimped battery terminal connectors. thick enough gauge and already sized and crimped. lol. I like the vise idea but be careful to make sure everything is lined up properly.

I might just do that... I've got enough spare battery wires from previous projects that I think I would just need a few very short lengths (like the buss bar jumper and the + lead from the Bussmann to the breaker). Might not be worth purchasing all of the large gauge for such a small project.

Btw if anyone is looking for a set of Stage III Deavers I'm renovating a set and will post them by the end of the week. Too heavy for my truck after talking to Deaver. New hardware all around (from Deaver), rust treated, new paint, etc. So far they're looking brand new. Local discount.

What would you think about someone thinking of relocating to the Moab area?

Yeah. I figured I wouldn't need to buy the hydraulic crimper and all the wires and conenctors and stuff. I just found the battery terminal connectors and they were thick enough gauge with crimped lugs and everything. I just put on some heat shrink on the lugs to give it better conenction and insulation and voila, super easy. Already cut to different lengths so I just bought the lengths that I needed. Saved a ton of time.

Lol. Could you imagine a low slung supercar on some of those roads there? Take it into sand flats rec area. get some stares. haha

that said, Moab is a small town relatively speaking. Way cool and way fun. Idk a lot about living there. It is a bit on the pricey said from my understanding. but if you can live there, do it!

Ha! As long as we're dreaming, the 4x4 Squared would be my Moab ride (but in the neon yellow color)
