I hope ya'll don't mind me asking this question here. But do you know if wheels off a 2018 Colorado (that's all they provided) would fit a 3rd gen? From what I'm seeing online, I *think* the bolt pattern is different?

Do you have a link for the OEM pop'n lock that you ordered? And how did you know it was prewired for it?

I have the 2021 TRDOR and it was prewired for bed lights but im not sure about the tailgate lock.

Sorry I was unclear on that one.
The pop’n lock I had to run the oem wire harness which came in the kit from the dealership was real easy but it plugs into the remote keyless entry harness on the passenger side foot kick panel.
I bought the kit for $250 CAD from my local dealer.
My dealership is also real good about me installing and they always print me out the shops install instructions.

Had to look twice at the picture. The horns about the trans. cooler look like two little people working on the radiator.

Did you just add in an actuator, or actually replace the handle?

Actuator kit from Toyota. It was so easy can’t imagine why someone would pay $250 for install even if you could afford it or didn’t have the time.
Took one hour to install the kit

I think that’s where you had trouble. Pretty sure your supposed to fit the Hiline after installing the plastics back on. Come to think of it I think I did end up fitting the plastics over the Hiline against the instruction recommendations cause I thought it looked way better but found this left the plastics too unsecured and almost left it floppy.
I ended up fitting it as the instructions suggested with the tangs out front and that set my plastics up solid.

That’s a hell of a deal but the bolt pattern is not the same. The Colorado has a smaller 6 lug pattern.

Swapped out the grille and added new wheels/tires.

    20210221_093945.jpg

Truck pulls to the right now with the new wheels/tires, anybody know if a brand new truck should need an alignment when you put new wheels on? It seems like it should still be perfect from the factory, maybe one of the tires is defective?

Swap tires left and right and see if the pull changes. Could be a sign there is a tire issue.
