im honestly considering one of those for the car trailer.. WHENEVER IT DECIDES TO COME IN..

 

I'm considering one as it's a great bang for the buck and have read a lot of success stories with it.

Already got my winch mount; I'd need to look into upgrading the grounds, or just the big 3 really, and upgrading my alternator and battery though.

 

the charge harness on the 3.4l is really simple to remove. you can make a nice cable setup with 4 gauge easily. may as well do the 105 amp alt upgrade too you know

But yeah that Grand Vitara upgrade is what I meant.

 

I did the 105 alternator and made my own cables out of two gauge.

 

4 gauge is ample enough. but 2 gauge works too.


tundra will be getting the 150 amp sequoia alt.. i may do a 4 gauge wire.. but we'll see.. its a pain to hide it on that engine

 

i wonder if its possible to put the 3.4l alt regulator on the back of the 105 amp alt... hmmmm

 

Do I have an extra set of lower control arms?

Making cables isn't hard.

It's the other tools for crimping such a heavy gauge cable and buying the parts (and waiting) that isn't a huge motivator.

jump started the tundra nad took it for a little spin (to go get gas.) the exhaust manifold has a slight whistle.. only a matter of time before the dreaded tick
