Im doin some maintenance on my runner today. I found a set of Denso plugs in my parts stash along with those oem oil cooler hoses but so far only one valve cover gasket. If I've got one I must have the other so I'm gonna have to do some more digging in my parts stash.

Lol. I'm gonna do that at work so I can do it up on the lift.

 

This weekend I Fabri-cobbled a skid filler thingy to fill the gap in the bumper cover where that ice chunk got through. I thought I had a piece wide enough, but it wasn't, so I grafted another piece on. ended up looking better with the smaller top part imo. Saved myself $60ish over the RCI version and got to have some fun making it. Flux core right now because 110v and portability for that apartment lyfe, hopefully upgrade once I get my own place.

ta-da! I also ground off the welds, and left 1 spot that I thought looked nice to remember that I made it. Also rounded the corners and edges on everything, so it wouldn't accidentally cut anyone holding it and just look nicer overall



Sorry for the photo dump, but I'm excited that I got this done. Hopefully it will prevent any more ice chunk radiator penetration lol. Still need to finish painting and now that I'm back at my apartment, going to try and do it in the woods behind the complex.

Dude, I was being sarcastic AF! That battery probably doesn't have any reviews on Amazon because it's $800 !!!!!!!!!!! WTF!? You could buy 3 decent batteries for that much!!!

On another note......I read a while back that Toyota stopped putting the 27F in their Tow Package Equipped trucks.

I know very little about batteries and figured that when the time came to replace mine I would just buy whatever AGM has the best warrantee for the normal operation of the truck. Then whatever is recommended for a secondary battery for additional things like lighting, a winch, etc.

 

I know, I just like to give him shit too. He'll always be my boy!
