No water southwest. Showed up at ACC on 290 at 8:45 for the water distribution at 9:00. They fucked up, truck wasn’t scheduled to arrive until 11:00. The line went for as far as you could see in both directions when I left at 9:15. I’m getting water from my in-law that has rainwater collection.

Some of the breweries on Fitzhugh are letting you fill up containers.

I drank a few of those when they first came out like they were lone stars. Stood up and it hit me. :anonymous:

Damn I could use a beer.

I'm playing the game "what else will leak". Had a blown-out elbow. Cut and remove 3" of either side. wait two hours, nope a shut-off valve split. none in stock at home deposit. Removed it and splice in a straight pipe. Waited to hours. Nope found another split. fawk. Found another. Crap. Waiting until 5 PM for the glue to set.

Getting much better and my glue-ups.

If you were my actual brother, you’d know it already. My slave driving old man had our driveway clean as a whistle. In Minnesota. Because he had cheap labor. Me.

Too bad Coors or Bud didn’t have a brewery here. They could supply water with no change in their process.

What? Okay. I’ll see myself out...

Okay, got more water at Sam’s. This should last the week.

Getting some water pressure back in the house. Warm water is coming from the hot side, and nothing is leaking anywhere.

I think I’ll be good once we get full pressure back.

    C’mon city!

Still nothing here, not even the sound of air in the pipes.
I’ll have to shut the main off if I leave the house tomorrow. I still don’t know how the hose bibs did.

Georgetown water gave the green light that boiling was no longer required. Then later this afternoon they requested customers reduce usage to only necessity (no dishwashers or laundry). Aside from that, our situations appears mostly back to normal.

We back in full swing it appears. Maintained power through the whole thing, just lost water for a few days at the end.

4 days without a shower. I’ve smelled worse after working in 100 degree weather for one day.
