Good morning TW. Chin up @CVYota ..aka Andy I believe?

My Texas drama update. No cold water in kitchen or my daughter's bathroom. Need three 3/4" couplings and two 3/4" elbows to get everything back in working order. ZERo parts available around here so ordered online. 2 big ole holes in utility room sheetrock and a pile of soaking wet insulation was pulled. Going to let it dry out for about a month before I button everything back up and paint. I'd rather do plumbing than tape/float/paint. Hope y'all have a great day and week ahead.

Football seems a bit random unless you are going to plug the drain with it. You will be getting sewer gases if that is not plugged

Besides its not like Texas even has a football team anymore

Ha! Yep i don't clean in places folks don't see. Benefits of being a bachelor in my 50s. :D Believe it or not that football has been missing for quite some time. Just like texas football...aka tsip football for the orange crew down here. BUT, let's talk about my fight'n Texas Aggies and how well they did this year. Ole Jimbo is finally making up for lost time. And yep i'm probably jinxing our season next year. But we're still trying to fit into the SEC powerhouse we all know and love.

42* up here this morning - that's a roughly 60* difference from a couple weeks ago.
snow's almost all melted from the camper, hopefully by tonight or tomorrow the roof will be clear

Yes maam, will need to deal with some pipes over the next few weeks, but sufficiently bottled up to be functional. Just ain't built for sub-freezing down round these parts.

went for a walk/swim....it looks like all of the storm drains in my hood are clogged. there is a puddle at the end of each block several inches deep. came home and had to take off my shoes and socks outside, changed pants, I was soaked halfway up to my knees!

because that would have required walking down the middle of the street for most of my route - the puddles extend out into the street, half into the driving lanes, and up each block about 50 yards

Damn, I gave myself a concussion this afternoon. I was wearing my cap and walked along the front of the garage trying to stay under the eave as it’s a snow/rain mix and didn’t see the square edge of the lantern light fixture on the wall between two garage doors. Lost a bit of transmission fluid in the process too.

    Ouch!
