I don't even know where to begin with this, least of all with the fact that the whole tent setup was so obviously photoshopped onto that Land Rover lol. I sure hope they didn't use this as an ad because it's awful


There was an old website called Photoshop Disasters.com or something that would display bad PS in ads, I wonder if it's still around

edit - apparently it closed down some years back, if you go to it now it's just a bunch of random ad links

I haven’t forgotten about it, I’ve just driven myself into bankruptcy trying to restore a boat and a Nissan.

I had to order a new trim pump, transom bellows, and water outlet for the Bayliner and the Nissan still needs the back taxes

He's got a genuine nightmare trying to get that 10 years of back taxes workable. It's a $300 car and 4k of taxes haha

 

Recall I bought it without a title, I could’ve brought it back to California from Vermont all properly except Cali still wanted back taxes on it which exceeded the value of the truck. So I sold it, didn’t need two trucks anyway.

 

Did you list it as having 'bucket seats' when trying to sell it

There’s a loophole, if I wrote an affidavit stating I purchased the vehicle without the knowledge of back taxes on it - the taxes can be renegotiated to how long I’ve owned it. In this case I’ll only owe a year of taxes plus the normal CA title fees. People do it for motorcycles all the time.

Couldn’t do it for the 5-Lug because of the no title thing. I paid taxes on it in Vermont though.
