So I'm laying in bed watching Predator and I have to admit I'm VERY surprised at how good the picture looks, especially when you consider what has to happen for this image to show up on the TV.

    20210221_182221.jpg

First off, that is on a 2006 model, 32" 720p TV. The first flat screen I bought and the first of many Vizios.

For the video feed, the movie was ripped from my Blu-ray then compressed (because I'm not made of money and don't have unlimited storage space). Then it's being served up by my Plex server then sent over wifi to a Firestick.

Considering all the conversion that is going on, coupled with the age and lack of pixels for the TV, I'm quite impressed.

    Why thank you!:hattip:

it was quick, I almost didn’t believe it when I grabbed it with the tongs and it crumbled!

it’s different for sure! I’m not sure I like it though... the reviews are in and it’s not looking good...

This quote sums up my review of this cooker, it’s excellent at cooking quick, but it’s no substitute for the real thing.
All of my family agreed that it was delicious, but can’t be compared to a slow smoke.
I’ll keep this around, but it’s not going to be my weapon of choice.
I really wanted to love it, and the bark and tenderness was amazing, but it just lacked that deep smoke flavor and true smoke lines on the first 3/4” of meat. The chicken was ridiculously juicy, but just not the same.

It is going to take forever to look up all these words I have no idea what they mean.

To my eyes all the video formats look the same no matter what system I look at them on.

VHS DVD Blu-Ray it is a picture maybe to many years looking at puddles.

I hate it wasn’t as good as it looked. Wonder what would be good cooked in it?

I’m trying to get out of the store and back to the shop. My wife is still hurting to bad to come work and can’t talk good. We have a lady who helps us out if we need her and I ask my wife to see if she’d work some this week. She said she’d work some today, hopes to be here by 9 and can work until 2 or 3. Every little bit helps :fingerscrossed:

There's an entire gang of comrades coming off a 30 day ban today. TW should be somewhat back to normal.

My rabbit ears have gotten fancier than I used to have but I'm still rockin' the antennae!
