Hello to all. Tacoma Oldster here,64 yrs. to be exact. 2012 Tacoma Access Cab with 215/70/15 tires. Door panel says 33PSI Back - 30PSI Front. There is a recall notice about tire pressure sticker could be wrong. Do I stick with those numbers or is there a new tire PSI that has changed? Any information would be appreciated. Old guy, still willing to learn from younger generation. Us old guys don't know everything. Not understanding PSI variation either ! 30PSI seems to low for my way of thinking. Feel it should be 33PSI X 4.

    Welcome to TW, Doyle!

I'm not saying they're right but the dealership aired all 4 of mine up to 36.

not sure it will be as lively as how often to change my oil, but tire PSI seems to be another personal preference. I like 30 all around. Some day i'll do the chalk test so I can say that I know what's the best psi.

I’ve got a new one, but I have a 1000-1200# load in the back continuously. Sticker says 30. It had 33 off the lot. I bumped to 40, that’s what I ran in my half ton. I might back it off a little, but it’ll still probably be 36-38.

Just got my 15,000 service at Courtesy Toyota Brandon Florida. 41 psi all around. Scared the heck out of me when I saw this, I thought they broke my computer, thinking there's no way in he_ _ this is right. Oops 40 in back.
