For the Tacoma owners who need articulation for their trail or rock focused rig, and want quality shocks, but don't need 2.5" shocks, we offer our new Trail Series 2.0" relocation kit.

Fitment info:
-It does NOT fit 2.5" shocks
-Tabs top and bottom are standard 1.5" width w/ 1/2" bolt.
-Ideal collapsed length between 18"-21" (axle tabs rotate to adj)
-Remote reservoir & straight hose only, piggyback will not fit
-Wheel spacers may not be needed with negative offset wheels, depending on tire size and brand ex:
16x8 et0 4.5" BS w/285s or
17x9 et-38 3.5" BS w/315s or
17x7.5 et15 (FJ) 4.75" BS w/265s

-The recommended shock is a Fox Performance series 2.0x12 (18.35" collapsed) remote reservoir (resi cannot mount to shock body, tuned by Accutune):

After running Accutune'd Fox 2.0x12 on one of my trucks, I was happy with the good ride and moderate performance for only about $620 /pair which included custom valving!

It will also fit:
-Fox Performance series 2.0x14 (20.8" collapsed, loss in ground clearance vs. 12", rotate axle tabs down to adj)
-King 2.0x12 (19.6" collapsed),
-Radflo 2.0"x12" 5SR-003-00 (With 5/8" rod)
-Radflo 2.0"x12" 5SR-007-00 (With 7/8" rod)
-ADS 2.125x12

Kit comes welded ready to install. 1/4" Hi strength steel construction and CNC formed

Either Randy or @ARCHIVE (Eric) I know that Fox, King, or ADS are recommended with these, but how about the 12 inch 2.0 bilstein resi?

 

As long as the mounts are 1.5” wide and uses 1/2” diameter bolts, then I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. I do recall a friend saying the spacing on his billies was something funky and had to stack some washers in his to get that 1.5”.

 

Got those in the mail as we speak .....the spacers I mean

 

And in case anyone is unsure what I mean by the 1.5”, it’s the combined width of the shock mount and the spacers that come with it.

Is the advantage of this relocation over your other that you wouldn’t need to run wheel spacers? I have your older kit on my truck and I love it

 

It is more affordable, you can get Fox RR 2.0x12 and the relo kit for $800 all in. Because there is no concern over fitting any bypass tubes like my other tower, and its only 2.0 body shocks, it may be able to run without wheel spacers with certain offset aftermarket wheels and 285s

 

Personally, after giving my money to Bilstein, and being very dissatisfied, I cannot recommend them to anyone. (But people can, it is best to get collapsed length between 18-20", don't know Bilstein lengths)

-I recommend good rebuildable and tuneable Fox Performance series 2.0x12.1 and only 18.35" compressed for $560/pair. (Remote resi cannot mount to shock)

I currently have 07+ tundra 2.5 kings with 10" travel, dakar leafs and hammer hangars. Would your recommended setup work with the dakar? Will dakars flex enough to benefit from the longer shock? Thanks!!

 

Ooo I can answer this. I had Dakar’s, hammer hangers and 12” kings and it flexes awesome.

You’ll want to trim the second leaf on the Dakar’s back an inch or so though because under a lot of flex, the leaf pack fans out and the second leaf gets jammed into the shackle.

I have those same shocks you asked about above but without the clicker compressor.
