    Maybe I'm just dumb money, in fact I know I am, but does it seem a little suspicious that this news came right after close today? Does that mean anything? I was just thinking about people in the company being in the know being able to sell off higher before the news dropped? Idk

    So is it really people who, say, in Jan heard a rumor, and then in Feb when the rumor comes to fruition they bail? Or is there a reason they're thinking "With this merger they will be worth less because X Y Z"??

    That's how announcements typically go. Earnings, stuff like this - they typically are released right after market hours. Not super sure about pharma and whatnot, I don't think they're as uniform I think they'll release test results and findings at random times.

    I'm glad I was able to clarify with my pea brain :rofl: yeah, there's just no "good" time to make an announcement like this. Market open, AH, closed, weekends - there's always a negative to why they wouldn't do it then. :notsure: not really worth overthinking it.
