Device on Windshield

Yep, all of which have ugly T taps from my KARR alarm I didn't even know I had until it started falsing mid-summer prompting me to swiftly relocate it...

I guess I could bite the bullet on ordering just the keypad and see what comes but if it's just the pad and missing the piece which sticks to the windshield that'd be a bummer right?

That magnetic Windshield QC Scale thingy's gotta be worth sumthin too.

Kidding aside, if I were to go for it, for simplicities sake I'd order the whole shebang.

 

To all the naysayers, I had the key pad on my F250. When I'd go spearfishing, diving, hunting, etc. I'd leave my key in a very inconcpicuous location in the truck and then lock the door. Did this for well over 13 years and there was never an issue with it being stolen. Being able to open the door via keypad was a cool perk.

 

I just want to be able to start my truck and lock the door with the fob like I did with my VW GTI...

 

Bummer, I was ready to go all-in at $150. For closer to $300, I'll pass. Neat feature though.

 

I want to get this but I'm told you can't not buy this in California. Has anyone else hear this? Has anyone in Cali gotten one?

Cali has a strange law where if you cant prove it doesnt cause cancer, you have to say it can cause cancer.... But, my first part stands. Have someone in another state order it and ship it over.

A ‘99 4Runner I used to own had those. I never saw much use in them. It also had a power moonroof which stopped when it was 3/4 of the way closed. As SUV’s go it was ver safe and sane LOL

 

Read the whole dam thread, then I get to the "Cant Buy In California" part. Another reason to hate this place.
This woulda been a perfect solution for surfing days. Cant bring the key into the ocean!

Maybe when they recall Gavin Neusom, new Governor Caitlin Jenner will fix this.
