It's actually a tough play because things in the "Window of chance" are way overpriced and anything outside that $30-60 range is too much of a risk...

 

JUST filled at $40...nicked it for a second...hopefully it's bouncing off that bottom...

 

I wish I closed my ROKU calls this morning. Right before I leave for work it was up $14 and the options had about $1900 profit. I went to work and looked at it at lunch. Down $29 and the options now have 3.5K loss. FML. lol

Hopped a little early at 52. Managed to get in around 14.50 though so not bad by any means.

 

Glad I got out of CCIV at 52 (I only had 10 shares at the time)

You really think CCIV will keep going down? I almost sold at $45 when I saw it nosediving. I figured it would happen just not that fast after the announcement ‍♂️

I’m hopeful it can eventually come back up. I do believe this could be a good stock down the road.

 

I think NIO has a better chance to compete with Tesla than Lucid in the near future. They've been tanking ahead of march 1 earnings but I'm in that one for long unless they jump out of nowhere.

Edit: Then again Lucid will be employing 5,000 Americans by the end of '22 I believe is their forecast. They've got a nice factory ready to start pumping out cars here in Phoenix.

 

Then you might as well hang onto it at this point.

 

CCIV is a SPAC. It's inherently volatile up to, and when the SPAC merger is announced. Obviously nobody knows what stocks will do for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if it runs down to the $20's and trades flat there for a long while.

Then again it may run right back up tomorrow after big money finishes their profit taking and buy back in. SPAC's are fickle mistresses, and I generally get in and get out once I've made my money. Buy the rumor, sell the news is definitely applicable with mergers.

 

Then hold. Don’t let crazy short term stuff change your mind. No reason they can’t take market share. Tesla becoming more mainstream with cheaper offerings will turn the elitists off when they won’t stand out with the Everyman driving Teslas. And they don’t want to be in a Ford or Chevy EV. Lucid could hit the sweet spot. Nobody knows

 

That was what I did with CCIV also, but with the BFT that I own I plan on just holding. There's a lot of analysts who see the price being 20-25 after the merger. Obviously each different analyst thinks differently but I do like what I know about paysafe. Who knows maybe it spikes to 28 randomly and I take easy profits and run.
