A lot of my work is designing in cryogenic areas (-40C) and preventing condensation in those areas. Unfortunately using the same solutions on a tent would not be possible or I'd recommend them lol.

There was plenty of condensation on tent walls, extrusions and roof, which was expected.

The leaching from cord to mattress pad was not expected and seems excessive. I'll try aqua seal or other once I get home. Aside from the mattress pad the leaching also occured in the back corners where water seemed to come in the seam of the panel and also through the cord. It was dripping down below that all night.

My sleeping bag stayed dry thankfully

Have you considered sending those photos and associated commentary to SP to get their response on a proper remedy (from their point of view)?

I would imagine that an all night storm may jeopardize any self installed electronics situated below the leaks in the back corners...

Certainly a bit disappointing considering the cost and that you had to sleep in a simulated swamp due to a rainstorm.

Hope you are able to find a remedy.

Ugh. Don't take my advice of the aqua seal on the Keder rail (what you call the cord). You would have to seal the entire channel and the cord, but with the design of how the Keder rail works, it may shift and break the aquaseal and leak again. This needs a better remedy.

I was only recommending aquaseal/seamgrip on the thread/stitching of the tent material.

Yeah I'm going to email SP for suggestions.

It wasn't that bad for sleeping. The wet area was mainly on the bottom of the pad. I had flipped it over after the first night and wiping the extrusions down more to see if that helped any...it didn't. But good news is there was minimal moisture on the top of the pad from this. I wouldn't want a full pad around it but a layer of plastic along the edge may be enough to keep moisture away from the pad. As mentioned this won't really be an issue for me in socal and AZ as it seldom rains in places I typically go. And I would normally change plans and go elsewhere if the forecast showed major storms incoming.

This leaking water inside concerns me.
If the leak is around the cord that's running through the Keder rail that would also indicate water not being able to drain.
I wonder if there are too few or no holes or slots in the bottom of the Keder rail to allow water egress.
Haven't seen a SP up close, is there a fabric flap or some protection that secures the outside of the Keder rail?

PS - yes I'm in Utah where rain is mostly a 'suggestion' but do travel to other more hospitable climates.

I'll have to look at it later, I think there is a skirt but maybe it isn't long enough? Keep in mind this was also full night's of pretty steady rain so it may not have had time to drain. But yeah, moisture in there is not ideal.

There are some solid grounds on the frame under the bed. That’s what I use for my line in the back.

Are they selling them at SP? I didn’t see any note of them for sale yet.

    SP is working on theirs.
You have to DM him (shittco) on IG. I think I got the last set he had ready to go.

I ended up running one 4awg from the starter battery to the rear and used a buss block. Grounded to the frame in an existing bolt hole.

Same. Starter battery is grounded to frame so no issue.

Juiced. I only got shocked one time and there was only one small fire but it was so small it put itself out before I had a chance.
Today I learned that circuit breakers are better than fuses so you can kill the power supply when adding lines.
I’m telling ya, V2 of my set up is gonna be so sick.

It’s from the ShittCo guy, I didn’t know SP was planning them. I’ll rarely use them as I don’t “hang out” upstairs, but my wife might
