Well i got my first import vehicle. I always had ford and chevy prerunner trucks, but switchced over to the tacoma. Its all built up for the desert and whatnot, and it has a trd supercharger. it has loads of power when you stomp on the gas, but feels like there is no power right after take off. my engine code came on, and the old owner said its "running lean" how do i fix this? i dont have the money to spend to get a full tune at a shop or for the "7th injector" kit. i just want to know how to fix the horrible lag. I love the truck, its sweet. what do i need to do? thanks everybody.

Ok so your running lean, the injectors cant pump enough fuel in to have the most power. You need to either go easier on the throttle or get the 7th injector kit. Do you have any pinging.

well any more then half throttle does it. and the 7th injector kit is really expensive. but no pinging that im aware of or can hear.

there are myths floating around about some years and cc's of supra injectors fitting.... but I am looking for the same thing for my SC Taco..... i have the urd kit on and it made a world of difference though..... what plugs are you running???? if they are the iridium.. IK22 or the BKR7EIX then get those out and through in the denso K20TR11.... just did that to mine and wow!. but yeah, get a 250walbro or 190 walbro and bigger injectors if you dont wan the urd 7th.... though i would highly recommend just getting the 7th..... way better and safer.

well if i had the money id do the urd kit. but pretty much for the price id pay for the bigger injectors, walbro pump and all that crap id be better off just buying the urd kit considering it pretty much comes with everything.
