    Alsooo he says it’s too dangerous cause he kept getting hurt. He admitted that he goes too heavy and “I can’t dial it back because then I just don’t enjoy it”.

    Also what is with all you short lightweight guys split jerking everything? Lol never fails, half the 105kg guys and basically all the lighter guys split jerk log, axle, even block. Y'all weird.

    Oly lifters are small pushing stupid weight over head with a split jerk. And rob kearney holds the log record by using a split as well. Just seems like it works. I won’t split on the block tho. Too awkward.

    First time doing rack pulls tonight. 18”. Whoever thinks elevated deadlifts are just so much easier or half a deadlift... y’all need to do them. kicked my ass today lol

    My lower back feels like a needle is pricking me lol. Don’t know what happened as it didn’t hurt going up. Think maybe I set it down wrong. Was trying to find a 3RM. 405 was butter so went to 495 and got humbled I guess.

    I just wanna lift big weight already :pout:

    Cause you're lifting with your lower back lol 18in should have essentially no lower back straining when done right. Especially with your height.

    It didn’t hurt till after. Idk :laugh: I watched the video over and over again and it doesn’t look like it ever rounds except maybe before I put it down. I really do try to focus on form. But I guess shit happens. Learn as you go.

    It's not from rounding. It's from using your lower back to hinge the weight up instead of using leg drive and power generated from your quads and glutes.

    I just suck at this shit apparently lol. But that does make more sense. I thought deadlifts and stuff= Rotate at the hip and squeeze the glutes to push forward. But being new to rack pulls I probably botched it.

    Bright side = 500 moving easy means many gains to come. Lol

    Rotate aka push hips through on lockout isn't the same as using your low back as a lever. Everyone who does 18in starts off using their low back lol Just takes time and practice.

    Good thing there’s plenty of time I guess lol. I just wanna hit that 600lb deadlift, 300lb overhead, and a 350lb stone. I feel like I’m not asking too much :laugh:
