Whatcha y’all think about hammer hangers? Don’t really need new leaf packs, happy with my stockies and AAL, but with the added weight of the swing outs I built, it levels out the truck and I get the bro lean when stuff is in the back. Heard the hangers are good for another inch of lift

Getting things figured out for getting the truck fixed temp so I can drive around for a while until I can decide the route to go with a full repair.

It's 65 but I have a +4 LT on order coming with my lift it'll be close to 3.5 maybe a little less actual so about 72wms to wms and I'm going with some pretty non aggressive wheels to keep them sucked in some and have good scrub radius.

Nice. Can you get the 9 with 6 bolt lug pattern? I've honestly not looked at axles, just talking shit from the Jeep days

The 9" you can get in whatever flavor you like. Its like the AR of axle world. Some housings you can shove a 10" RG in them

I knew you could get it in a matching Jeep config, just wasn't sure about Toyota. I watched an old episode of Truck Tech on Power Nation the other day. That got me to looking for an older JKU Rubi with the 3.8(07-11) to do a Hemi swap    That motor was a dog, so those models are much cheaper than the ones with the 3.6

I'd rather have an LJ. The 3.8 was dog dodo to say the least. It was like the turd gen tacoma but worse. I think they literally took motors out of the minivans and put them in the heeps no changes to anything.

They did. The 3.6 was even a minivan motor :D The LJ's are a bit too expensive, plus the TJ/LJ D44 was a hybrid. It had the D44 pumpkin, but 30 outers. I did love that inline 4.0 though. Also, the OPDA(or whatever it was) in the 05-06 autos was a problem.

    I know Jeeps :D

I lucked up and got the D44 in my Sahara. I always wanted to get a HP30 out of a XJ and swap it in. They say the gears were 30% stronger. I also got the NV4550 trans.

Oh I know. But who said I'd get a Rubi LJ I'd just go with the standard since ditching the axles off the bat needs to be done. The 3.8 was also a minivan motor . All chrysler autos are pretty garbage from that vintage.
