All you had to do was get me the vin and I could tell you. As for wiring, a switch, relay and 4 wires. Simple

When I was contemplating the route I wanted to go for switches in the cap, I had ordered a bunch of these pre-made panels. Out of all of them, this one was decent. Just ended up not fitting the way I wanted so ended up doing a custom box instead. Decent panel though.

Also, I was shown an amber one on some site but need 8 more humans to want one

Factory 4Runner mirror heating elements are wired in parallel with the defroster circuit on the HVAC system. You can hook it up like factory, to a timer relay, or on a switch. Just don’t forget it if you choose a switch.
