I’ve thought about that buying a high miles or bad motor and swap an ls, would solve my want for a convertible and v8 lol.

I think a JKU Rubi with a Hemi swap would be pretty badass. A set of Metalcloak fenders and you can run 35's on stock susp :D

Why would I go 35s when I can get a Dodge Ram truck and get FF fenders and run fourDs with no lift

If I do anything heep. I'll jus grab a WOD chassis and build from there. 6.0 th400 atlas 14b front and rear with rear steer. Alum links rear being trailing arms with some sway bars, COs and bypasses. It'd be a bad bitch for sure.

You can run 35’s with a leveling kit in the front. Stock wheels no FF.

possibly 37’s if not off-roading it.

At least on the 2500 and 3500.

No need for a hemi when there’s the Cummins option.

I kept it at 31's and with the 3.73, I was fine. I assume you had the 3.07's?

No doubt. I'd still be driving the TJ had that asshole not hit me at the red light. It was a blessing in disguise b/c I do love the Tacoma.

I remember having some good times in my 05. Only down side was 2 young kids and my wife HATED it. I bought it for $7K and sold it 6 months later for $8K. So I guess it was fun while it lasted.

I don't think I'd ever go back to DD'ing one after having the Tacoma......but I'd damn sure have one as a secdonary vehicle. There's nothing like that utilitarian feel of the TJ's and older Wranglers.
