I still want to send the old engine to the moon with a 150 shot of nitrous once I'm ready to turbo the new one.

I'd be sure to. I wonder how many times it would take it before becoming a puddle of oil and metal bits.

I got bored this evening....ordered winch and mounting plate... didn't go all crazy but kaching. Near $800. For something you hope not to need.
I read where creed uses his with hitch mount. I like that idea and that's what took me so long to order....just going to permanent mount up front on the heap.

I like my hitch mount and have used it to winch dead tractors up on the trailer, also winched my truck out of my yard once after getting stuck. It’s nice to be able to move it if the need be.

Yeah, I had the thought to do this even before I read a post where you mentioned that. I even cabaged onto a good long length of welding lead and had some of those connectors in my cart. I still may run power to the rear and have the option later.

The connectors and cable add up to almost what a winch cost :D

Yes, I still have that stuff in my cart, the end pieces/terminals and a crimping tool. The cable was a freebie and definitely a expensive part. I do know a guy who might be able to hook me up with connection parts. He does equipment maintenance like electric forklifts for one...
