I’m about to pull the trigger on a 91 OV flash tune but was wondering if anyone is running one and what their recommendations would be all I’ve read are good things especially since I’m running 35s with 4.88 nitros

There are no 91 tunes. All tunes are Octane Learning. There are Reg and Prem fuel initial set points. The tunes adapt from there just like the Stock tune does.

I have the 87 tune on 33's. Big noticeable difference on mine. Hope others can chime in with your similar setup.

Are you having someone load it for you or do you own the tune kit?

The max ignition timing advance is not different? Or is there a max? Seems silly to make a 2 different tunes if they both end up in the same place

I was running premium tunes for a while but recently switched to regular(87base) tunes. I haven't noticed much of a difference personally, but I am also using custom user-created tunes, not OVtunes base-files so by default they are a bit peppier.

If you're gonna flash it yourself, you could just try both. If you're gonna have somebody flash it for you...just make sure you're okay with buying only premium fuel as you don't wanna load a premium base tune and then start running regular gas. You can do it the other way around (flash regular87 tune and rune 91octane fuel), but not premium tune with regular gas.
