I edited because I was on my iphone and it didn't come in correctly 2 minutes after the original post. The shape of the sunglasses has nothing to do with the tint on the sunglasses and regulating the time of day or conditions when they can be worn for visibility concerns .

Whatever. Call me a whiner for debating the logic of a law. I guess we are all supposed to stand down to the mighty wisdom of the legislature and not question anything. You Win!!

Have a look at any limo in the state of California...front windows are light. You could spray paint the rest of them but the fronts are the issue....keep up.

Yeah, that's NOT how the Medibusiness works here in the states.

California law clearly states medical conditions will not be considered.

i personally drive with limo tint and have the benefits of knowing an officer who signs off my tickets, i've had 3 in maybe the last year, but before that i didnt get one for like two years. What i have noticed is that some areas are more strict on the tint than others, for example orange county is known for tint tickets. but i also know from experience, maybe this isnt the same for you, but CHP is more involved with the fix it tickets. when i pull up next to sheriff vehicles, they don't seemed to be bothered. All 3 of my fixits are from CHP, one i was speeding and he let me off easy with a fix it, so i was happy, the other 2 were solely for fix it on the tint.

and just one thing i dont like about my tint is that i always have a reason to be pulled over, so it makes me uncomfortable, not scared but just a hassle when i have to go through the process over again.
but more importantly, if you have the tint and can be pulled over, your trips home from maybe that holiday party with the in-laws you didn't like so maybe you had a few beers, but know you might blow like a .1 bac (legal limit .08) the tint could result in a DUI, not that you were incapable of driving, people make there own choices, but something like this could happen.

No but they'll sell you a bag of weed over the counter and allow you to carry 8 oz of weed in your car.

If we took a tour of our state legislatures at work, I have a sneaking suspicion that the halls would smell like weed!

its not what you or i think about your tint. CA laws strictly state that any tint on the front passenger, driver, and windshield is illegal. unless factory, or you have a prescription. the only tint you can have on the windshield is a visor but it can't exceed 6" down i believe.

That's why I always roll with the windows down ;)

If it gets cold, more jackets. If it's too hot, I'll catch the cool breeze from the A/C when I make left or right hand turns :p

if you guys read the thread you'd notice the issue had been taken care of forever ago. I took the tint off, had it signed off, reapplied a lighter tint to help with my serious issue with glare/light.

and no, i'm not fuggly. welcome to the forums asshole.
