Ok I got a question dose my 98 toyota tacoma 2.7l sr5 have a torsion bar I just put new struts rack and pinion inner and outer tie-rods upper and lower ball joint and know the front look lower than the back I'm reading in the manual and it's saying to adjust the torsion bar and that's where I'm curious I thought they stopped them in the early 90s

Wrong manual if it's a Toyota book.

If its a Haynes or Chilton's, use it for fire starter.

    You have the wrong manual.

The coilovers you replaced (not struts) are what took the place of the torsion bars.

Take pictures I have seen far to many strange things.

I could see a Tacoma Cab installed on a pre Tacoma Frame and Chassis that could very well have a Torsion bar suspension.

Then a Steering Rack cobbled in and a 3.4
