Sold - Goodyear MTR 285/75/16 60% Tread

Asking $600

Located in Placerville CA and I travel to Sonora CA every week.

Set of 5 Goodyear MTR, 60% tread, 3 years old, no cupping on the treads, sidewalls are solid.

Selling because I bumped to 35s and don't need 33s.

Would you measure in #/32" tread height on each tire at the shortest height and report back, please.

Subbed in case I black out and forget to check this tomorrow. I just ordered Cooper ST Maxx in 255/85/16 (havent paid yet...) this is half the cost and I'm between Salida and Groveland every week. Happy with ride quality? Won't e on my "DD"

 

I'm running the cooper stt pro now and I like them both. I have zero complaints about the mtr, I ran em daily for about a year, they've been in snow, on gravel, on rocks, in sand and they work great. Took em down to 8psi and never had an issue. They aren't super loud, they do need to be rotated pretty often to avoid cupping but mine aren't bad as the numbers show. I only changed tires because I had a trip planned to rubicon and wanted the extra 1" clearance of 35s vs 33s. These tires are in great condition

 

Thanks! I' on 265/75/16 Toyo AT2s and going to jump to 33s ASAP (and 4.56 gears soon). I'm gonna start looking into this option instead of the skinny ones I ordered... decision time, haha

 

Just lemme know. I'm in sonora fi Sat sun normally. If you have the v6 you don't need the regear. I ran stock for 2 years.

 

I'll let ya know mid week! Its a 2007 v6, auto, access cab... but she's fat (steel front and back, winch, sliders, skids, habitat, etc). My 31s make me want a regear

 

Honestly looks like I'm running a similar setup. Steel up front, winch, skids, sliders, dual swing out rear, camper. You'll do fine but you'll also like the regear.
