not sure, but Dan lead. We met up near Burgettstown to look for a waterfall. We did one pretty good climb in some deep snow. The KO2 did great.

Was this organized on FB or something? I'd love to get my Pro some offroad work.

There are some of us who like to wheel and some of us who like to cruise. The Facebook group seems to be a meetup and cruise type of group from what I can tell. It isn’t really advertised on this page when they go out so you have to wander on FB for that. Then there are those of us that schedule dedicated trail days on here, and we usually go on more technical trails from what I can tell through pictures.

I definitely like to cruise; love driving my Taco so far. I'm definitely going to blow past my mileage allowance with this lease. LOL

While this isn't my first truck, I would definitely call it my first off-road capable truck. I'd like to get it out on some trails, nothing super crazy though, at least starting out. Off-roading and overlanding is new to me, so I'd like to his some novice trails, to get my wheels under me.

Hello fellow yinzers, I am new here having bought my first Tacoma back in September. I'm eager to get it off road this year and make some new friends, what is the name of the Facebook group?

I promise you your not sucking in exponential dirt around here. Most snorkels are put on in the west due to the desert sands. I put my snorkel on after almost drowning fury 2 years ago at my dads place returning with gas during a flood. On this side of the states an elephant trunk is only useful for water crossings and I wouldn’t put something sub-par on my truck when it comes to air intake. All of my mods done for my truck have been because of reason. Mostly because of al the wood I cut and haul; winch, rock slider (after almost hitting a cut off stump), suspension/lift. I camp hence the soft topper, and the elephant trunk is because my father lives in a flood zone; when I get the call at 2am I need to be able to get there.

If I could I’d take 600 sheckles and spend it elsewhere. I just dropped a chunk of change on batteries and would highly recommend odyssey. Even aux lighting light @Loco_Driver has on the rear are all better money spent IMO.

Breaking away for a trip this weekend. The water crossings may be interested and will be lots of mud.

Meeting in Morgantown Saturday at 10:00. Camping around FR-18 possibly

Finally got everything pretty well fixed up. New brakes all the way around, hubs up front, heat shield now has fender washers to keep it from falling. I might take a trip to Mcconnell's mill later and take the kids for a little hike.

Taxes procrastination in its works here:

We're talking sheckles here are we? Lmao. I got hooked up by a bad ass with my auxiliary rear lighting. I've used it almost every week since it has been installed. Yesterday, it easily helped me during an airport trip to see if I closed the tailgate. I've used it a fair bit working, and it paid off two fold when I had to back down multiple trails at night because that's how I roll.

The ditch lights, light bar in the grill, and the rear lighting have all been priceless. The wolf, elk, deer, cayotes, and numerous storms have all been a minimized threat from my auxiliary lighting. My second major useful modification is the 2 Lo since I tow so many trailers and the Toyota gearing sucks balls in the 3rd gen. Like @PlatinumCloud, I use all of these options regularly and have them because of that. I absolutely need rock sliders with my lifestyle of logging, being a trail guide around Southwestern PA for clients, and then wheeling in the woods to play. I would have already been saved twice with them, instead I got some new character. I use the truck for work so that's what it's meant for anyway.

Right on! ! I think we may have to have a celebration run sometime soon! I think a bunch of us are pretty much ready for a technical ride. Who's down, when and where are we going?

Pretty nice, huh! It's like pressing a tractor button on your truck, but it only takes 20 minutes to take on and off and makes you hella muddy!!!!

Ya. I brought them up that weekend but left my hardware at home. I was so pissed. They will be on Saturday. I’m so damn slow to install.

you got any pictures of the carnage? i am willing to bet that had you not had all the weight you have in your truck you would have been fine. this is where making this decision of a lift vs protection come into play. hope its not too bad

Technical ride I need to get the winch wired up, but need to figure out a switch this time. I fried the controller, got a replacement but haven't gotten around to wiring it. Haven't been out since October so I'm down. Can't go the last weekend in March.
