Yes it is an RJ-45. I ran a Cat8 cable from the back of it, under the center console, and out to my Midland which is under the seat. Might look into other mounting places, but it works for now.

$40 from AirOnBoard. Honestly there’s a fair amount of play in the plug, and I wish I had only spent $12. The AirOnBoard rep I’ve been talking to about it hasn’t been very helpful.

based on this, I am deciding to just dremel a hole into one of my dead buttons, and use the extension that I have already

Had my install actually finished well, I would try and dissuade you. But between their product and their customer service, I say go for your method. Besides, who needs the factory blank switches anyways? Good luck with the install!

Did you go back and check all of your connections, including hot wire to the battery and solid grounds? Make sure your relays are fully seated as well as fuses.

Got my shifter modified and spotted. Dual cases are in. Dropped off my driveshaft to have it shortened and go one piece without carrier bearing. BA564E87-5125-4407-8E24-AEC6E84ABE77.jpg

You could try a salvage yard and see what they might sell the piece for.

True. I was meaning to take a few when I got on the trails, but that hasn't happened yet. The truth of the matter is it doesn't look all that impressive becasue, well, it isn't supposed to. Although I did get a compliment on my light setup from a kid at the Chick-fil-A drive through, and another kid at the car wash today didn't think my rack would fit through (it does). The lights didn't move around at all; this was quite satisfying.

My @CaliRaisedLed light bar was flickering on and off on it's own...
I think I found the problem. The relay seemed to have got water in it. The 30A in-line fuse did not blow but it sure melted. Glad I caught this in the act or the truck might have melted away...

So I snipped the relay off and wired it to my switch board and put in a 30A fuse.

    Fuse is not blown.

    Melted fuse.

    Melted in-line fuse.

    Relay was the problem?

Wire now run to the "20A" placeholder on the left but put a 30A fuse in place.
I don't like how these switch boards pre-labeled all the fuses. They are all wired the same so the size of fuse doesn't matter.
