Help a colorblind guy choose the best maxtrax color to match my truck.

I have a 2019 Toyota Tacoma in Cement Gray, I'm looking to buy a set of maxtrax. The issue is that I'm colorblind and orange really doesn't show well in mud/dirt/green to me and everyone suggests the orange but it's a very dull color for me and doesn't show. I do see gray well and it would match my truck but there are two grays maxtraxx offers. Which color would best match the cement gray of my truck.

If so, ask her.

IMHO, for the Cement Gray a black or dark gray wheel will "anchor" the truck and accent the bed rail covers and smoke bug deflector.

 

I would get whatever colour you’re able to see the brightest.
If you snow wheel at all, the grey colour will be hard to spot if the boards get buried at all.
I tend to look for harsh contrast in recovery gear, easier to see what’s going on with the equipment while in use. That’s just a personal preference though.

If I’m getting one, I’d get black . Who would loose a maxtrax while using it . It’s not that small lol .

Neither lol, that's why I'm here... ya I was leaning the titanium grey or black because those are easy colors for me, it's going in the bedrock so something similar is fine with me!

 

Blending or matching, going on the bed rack so either would work honestly!

Any color works beside tan/brown/orange, snow wheeling for me comes very short because the trails close for mudseason kinda when the snow is most abundant. Thank you!

Ya I get that but if you deep in mud I can understand burying it.

If it’s buried in mud, color doesn’t matter. It’s not going to show. You have to feel for it to retrieve it right?

 

My Dad was red/green color blind. I understand the color issues.

I recall when we got a color TV. Could always tell when Dad would adjust the color...... Mom eventually banned him from the color controls, she took the knobs off and hid them.

Mine are black. I’ve used them at night. You won’t lose them.

 

My boss had a black truck for several years, before he found out was dark green. He was still happy and did not seem to care as we laughed...

 

Try varying grey colors or fades. white is acceptable in the palette as well as black....OMG Imperial stormtrooper....way too many of those on stinkin jeeps...
