I guess I could. Last time I moved one was with the Tacoma which only had the tiny rear view mirror backup camera. It was tough to tell what direction it was moving in a picture that small.

That would be helpful! Things so short you can't see until they're jack knifed sort of suck to back up. I struggled a bit recently, I rented the smallest enclosed Uhaul trailer, I think 4x8. With the long wheel base of the truck and the short trailer, I had to be careful with that one but I could at least see the roof.

I have a few NSFW terms for that knob.

I'll give that a go this weekend at home first. I usually bring everything cooked up and ready to go so I don't have to bring eggs, etc. I do bring a can of crisco to butter up my cast iron with.

I also have a 12" cast iron and use it to cook for....me. That thing is a bitch, I might snag another 10" or something instead. I have way too much cast iron.....

    I basically do perishable MRE.

I do want to mess with one. I'm curious to see if it will actually let you jack knife a trailer.

One thing I do want is a camera on the back of the camper. That would be helpful for cozying into a tight camp site and would completely cut my reliance on my wife for being a spotter.

yeah I kept this small enough to move around myself, but big enough to hold all my cooking gear and the sink to hook up to my 13gal on board water setup.

I don’t mind roughing it lol but I like to stay organized. This will make setup/takedown way faster. you should see some of the faces I get when someone notices running water in the middle of the woods from my truck lol

Vacation/time out was ok. Work got more productive since I could only lurk here, and that got boring quick. Made some purchases for the truck this past month.

I was in the middle of trying to buy some relentless bed bars from another member on here when I caught the ban. I was able to confirm we had a mutual friend and connected through him to finalize the deal. Pretty thankful because it saved me a hell of a lot of lead time. Shipping was more than anticipated but he gave me a deal on the bars and some wheel every weekend rtt security mounts. Thanks again @bski22 for working through all that despite the ban, and for @fatfurious2 for the assist!

Also pulled the trigger on a rtt. Love the tent but the Roam Adventure Co. sucks when it comes to customer service and accountability. Tent arrived with slight damage. They said its minor, shouldn’t be a problem. After some back and forth they finally gave me a tiny discount but I wouldn't say it makes up for the damage. If i knew how all this was going to go down, I would have gone another route. Either way, happy to finally have a rtt and I cant wait to get my family out and exploring.

Table style. Plop it down on the tailgate or the picnic table or whatever and open her up. Gonna put some little stubby legs under it so it doesn’t soak up water/moisture.

With the open bed/rack that you have on your truck, how do you plan on protecting it from the elements? Onboard water as well?

Guys. If anyone has a 4Runner.

I have two sliding drawers that fit into the back section. I traded the oem wheels for a custom made set from someone on the 4Runner forum who does some nice ones.
I think I still have all the hardware needed to attach them as well.

anyways, if anyone wants them, I’d be happy to get rid of them. We never installed them and they just take up a lot of space. They are very nicely done ones.

I don’t really have a price in mind and would take a whatever works for the buyer, as we will never use them and I just want to see them get out there in the wild and out of my basement.

anyways, send me a message if you are interested in them. I can send some photos as well.I live in Berkshire county MA right near VT and NY boarders. I would drive a little to get them to someone but as I’m gonna not be making any money I’m not willing to put much effort in.

this may be way better than setting up a CB in the truck. Hmmm

When I got my ban, I was also in the process of working out a deal with another member, I think we need to plan the bans a little better.

What in the fuck... im at the dealership right now trying to get this truck inspected, they owe me a sticker, it has a CEL right now!
Also, no one here has a clue about any relays or fuses to make the trailer charging circuit work. Hoping I can find a good service guy here, the salea people are useless.
