The TSB 0043-20 will work. The CUW fille T-0014-20 is what you want. When you flash this file your ECU ID will be upgraded to 04B14

Hey, Folks.

The 1st Post has been updated with the new CUWs and the new (revised) Canadian MT TSB. It looks identical to TSB-0043-20, so there should be a Rev to that posting soon.

I also shortened up the TSB explanation section as the chart does a better job of linking up the software files and some of the info in the older TSBs is out of date given all the new updates.

I also renamed the CUW files and ZIP files to note the go-to ECU ID to further simplify things.

I'll definitely dl the 04B42 file, but until Mat supports it fully I guess I'll wait out on applying it to my ECM. Don't want to get stuck with an OEM calibration!
So, if the question hasn't already been asked.. since we're going back to tuning by VIN, I guess I wouldn't need to buy more credits if I update my ECM to the new version and then tune it?!
Edit: I know that this would mean an unlock in the way we do things now.. but I mean Mat would know it's still the same truck!

With the new update in vF, you will get more credits as the value has been cut in half and the cost of four has moved to an even $40. You'll need four to Unlock a VIN and / or an ECU ID.


I ran two tanks on what should be the same tune (04B14), or darn close to it. By about halfway through the 2nd tank, I was really missing the bottom end torque and other benes. In that time, @OVTune had the new TP ready.

 

I get the unlock thing, but.. I've already unlocked my ECM. I just want to know from the man himself if I gotta pay every time a TSB comes out lol

Major shout out to the person who mentioned you can find your ECU ID with Carista! I did it took about 8 minutes to load up all the ecu info and boy does it list everything.

I added a link to a recent TS V15 release in the 1st Post. I am not offering any installation support other than what is given in that Spoiler. As far as I can tell, it is an official, unmolested version of TS, but getting an Activation Key is very different. You're on your own as it is a convoluted process to get a key. I found it worthwhile, but it might not be worthwhile to you.
