There are no TSBs for the 2021s.

Sorry. I was going off of the 2021 that was in the post, not what was in his profile on the left.

Yep, 2019 and I'm going to request the TSB. I keep pretty good MPG logs and will see how the new tune compares MPG-wise. Kind of excited to try it out based on all I've heard.

Thank you for this, I'm not familiar with the codes at all so this helps!

There apparently is an update for Entune navigation. I originally found out about it somewhere here on TW, started looking after my GPS took me to a traffic circle 18 miles from my actual destination and told me I had arrived.

I've tested the update and it seems like it's working well.

I did just go back and read my service receipt. It reads "NO OPTION" for service request "CHANGE CLICKER FROM FIVE CLICKS TO THREE CLICKS"

Naturally, my clicker was at THREE clicks when I brought it in, so I think I figured that out.

I don't know what the T1 and T2 codes mean either. I just remembered that they were there. It seems that they can be alphanumeric and the same code on different TSBs. The OP Code should appear on your Work Order and be unique for each TS?

Shit I found on CL or EBAY that I could screw on.
I took my 2017 OR AT in to a dealership today for two things. 1: to see about getting this update and 2: wandering idle. I was preparing for some linguistic jujitsu. My truck is out of warranty. Explained the shifting issue, and the SA did some typing, and said "Yep there's a TSB for that. We'll get that fixed up for you". Couldn't really test on the ride home, but felt like better throttle response.

The work sheet didn't explain too much just "Reprogram ECM".

That's the kind of dealer that you want to work with in the future.

Glad to hear! Did you have any prior tsb's for shifting or altitude issues?
:fingerscrossed:mine will be one of these, too!

No, but it was noticeable. I bought the truck in Nebraska and I live in Colorado. Made several trips over passes at interstate speeds. When the cruise control drops to 3rd gear and holds it at 5500 rpms... something ain't righto_O

Was talking trucks with my friend (we both own 2018s) and we both had the TSB installed on our trucks at separate times. Both of us really didn't notice much of a difference in drivability/gear hunting/truck surging when hitting the gas (merging onto a freeway).

Personally, I have tried different ways to remedy the gear hunting.
    1. ECT - I experimented with this shortly after purchasing the truck but it was so new to me I sort of dismissed it.
    2. Shiftsense Pro v2 - I tried all 3 modes and they make an impact, but not "ground breaking" or enough to fix the hunting gears.
    3. This TSB - again, no noticeable difference.

A few days ago I clicked my ECT button just to re-evaluate it.. and have fallen in love with it. Not sure what I missed the first go round but I plan to stick with using that as my fix going forward. Just interesting the TSB receives so much praise yet both my friend and I feel it didn't do much.

I think the issue maybe the fact that this newest TSB is only applied to 2019 and up. I would think there will be a newer tune coming too the older models
At least I would hope so.

Yes. New TSB tunes for the 2018, 2019, and 2020 MTs was just found. The 2016 through 2018 ATs are all that are left for an update.

I suppose I was incorrect commenting on this particular thread as the TSB-0092-20 was not the one installed on my 2018. The TSB-0062-18 is the one that was done, but I believe both serve the same purpose. My truck is an AT (same with my friend's rig).

The newer trucks have different ecu’s so experience will be different on your truck verses newer trucks.

Not really. TSB-0062-18 is old. The stuff in TSB-0092-20 (AT) and TSB-0043-20 (MT) is the new hotness. A big step beyond the old TSBs. Given that the remaining MTs were just updated, I am more certain than ever that the 2016 through 2018 ATs will get the update similar to TSB-0092-20.

A lot better than mine saying they "couldn't find it" even after giving them the TSB number.

Unfortunately they're the only dealership without driving at least an hour.

Glad you got a good one!

I don't have anyone in ND, but there might be someone close enough in the volunteer list:

Appreciate that. I still haven't taken the time to get an app downloaded for my OBD2 reader to see if they actually flashed it or not. Some times it feels like it and other times it doesn't.
