Seems like salespeople are useless by their very nature. Very seldom do I run across one that actually knows many details about the product they're supposed to be selling.

@Bridge4 keep me posted if @DoubleRGirl doesn't want those drawers. I might have a use. I'd have to pull dimensions.

I have seen a lot of modern trailers with the camera systems, I know some of the newer trucks have the cameras you can cycle through they'll have like 7 on the truck and then you can do them inside and behind the trailer too.

if in doubt - if you have anyone with you, skype call and have them put the phone down where you can see what you're doing. I had a coworker who did something similar, he would put the camera on the tongue of the trailer to back up the truck to it, was easier to see that than mounting on the truck (I guess).

 Yeah, definitely pretty sweet - if you spend a lot of time out in the woods/camping, definitely worth investing into.

Depends. All the best radios in the world mean diddly-squat if you're out with a group using CB. Also, nobody uses these for common travel, I hear CB chatter a lot already and only had the radio for like a week. There's no "channel 19" equivalent for FRS/GMRS/HAM.

I'll have both for trips and wheeling, but for common daily driving I won't leave the magmount on. I'll just have it for wheeling and trips and whatnot.

If you press it does it extend out first? Maybe there's a little blue triangle you press to extend it?

But shouldn't the 'Smart Asian' stereotype have canceled out the 'Dumb Female Womenfolk' stereotype?

How far are you from @emelianenkov ? He's a Service Manager at a Ford dealership. This isn't rocket science, I'm surprised they couldn't figure it out. I figured most of it out by watching YouTube.
Most of the camping trailers these days have the mount in the back to accept a Furrion back up camera. The problem is, until you get to the higher end models, they don't actually come with the camera so you have to spend about $500 to get the camera and the monitor. Some trucks do have the ability to add the trailer's camera to the existing head end, mine does not.

I do normally put my wife on speaker phone while I'm backing in and she's the spotter. We tend to camp in a lot of areas that don't have reception though which makes that problematic. Usually, I park on the road, we walk into the site together and I tell her to stand where she wants the camper's door to be and I'll just put the trailer there. Gives me a reference point and I can see if where she's standing, the trailer will clear everything else around it. The only times she has to 'direct me' is if I have an odd shaped site and/or have to thread the needle between trees to get in/out.

Hitching up, I do that by myself. The tailgate camera is the balls for that!

Ok, that IS an Asian stereotype. You stereotyped them into realizing that you're not a dumbass. Well played! :hattip:

    And also, Durn Southernfolk.

Of course, I've worked with the general public for long enough that at this point I pretty much just assume that everybody I meet is mildly retarded and set that as the baseline. They have to either change or confirm my suspicion from there. :notsure:

You guys all have the advantage of confirming it LONG ago...
