I wouldn't take the overload out ide take one of the middle leafs out.

 

I just carry a dirt bike, which is light. It's for sure not any kind of tow "rig" lol

 

Seems like all the Sports look a lot lower

Did some more digging and looks like TRD and TRD Sport share the same part number for the rear leafs but the Limited is a different part number...

 

Imo, many of these taco's pictured here look out of portion with too large tires that make the rest of the truck look small. There are some here that look great to that didn't use too large a tire.

 

well the first 3 pics are mine and I'm only running 275/70/17's and has a 1" lift on the front. Wheel well still look empty. Different strokes for different folks.

 

Different stokes for different folks... Personally I agree with OP I dont care for a rake look. I like a truck to sit level with tires that fill out the wheel arches.

Obviously the dodge is an extreme example but Its what i see when i look at a 3rd gen tacoma with the 245s that come with it from the factory.

 

2 50 pound sand bags in the rear of the bed. You will also be amazed how smooth your truck will ride. Everyone always thinks I am being a smart ass but this is a totally adjustable system and gives a little better traction on slippery roads.

 

I'd contest your numbers are off slightly. It only takes 1" of lift up front to level it. Your installed Kings don't appear to have given you any lift in the front. Did you bottom out the collars? That's fine if it's how you want it to look but obviously a couple turns on the collars would get you level. If left untouched from King, they are intended to produce a level stance on an otherwise unmodified Tacoma. Here's mine for reference.

 

Exactly. Newer ones only have one inch of rake. That's why im going up two in front and 1.5 in back to have a nice half inch rake for when I tow my beach ball

 

collars are not bottomed out. there's about an 1" of threads between. this is out of the box from king. I don't want the front any higher. I feel like the wheels already getting lost in the wheel well that is why I want to drop the rear an inch.

 

How is there no mud on that Tacoma?!

 

I don't care for the raked look either, but imo, tires size should be in proportion with the vehicle. That lower pic is plain stupid.

 

They sit 1 inch lower in the front. There is a two inch rake on the 2nd gens. Only 1 inch on the 3rd gens

 

I mean if you like your wheels hitting the wells off road than you do you man lol

 

This guy seems like a fan. No offense but I didn't ask for your opinion. I originally asked if anyone knows how to lower the rear. I appreciate everything you've had to add.

 

Ay man anyone can do what they want I just want them to know the consequences of their decisions. I’ve made bad decisions because no one told me what would happen lol
