1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Having to give critical analysis on two books in a 3-5 page eassy for English that's due tomorrow. I haven't read the books cause I'm a jackass. Bought them on audible to listen to them while I work, one book is narrated for 12hrs and the other is narrated for 11.5hrs.


5hrs into the first book and I just figured out you can increase the narration speed using the Audible app. Now the question is ... can I listen at 3.5 speed and still understand it well enough to fake my way through a paper?

 

Yeah. There's plenty of places I wouldn't mind living that aren't too bad yet. But they're in other countries.

If we make it to 10 billion, we're less doomed than I thought.

Mechatronics. So the English class is really only gunna be the "hardest" class I'm required to take, it's hard for me because I'm more technically minded and not good at creative analysis of other creative works

 

Just my luck I pick 2 books that no one has written critical reviews on.... probably why my teacher was so excited when I submitted my essay proposal

You (and I) might be surprised .... the caliber of English students in this class leaves something to be desired. That is if they write their essays like the write their discussion post
